You hold your art to much too high of a standard. I mean I know you have to make money but it's not like you have established a reputation in your work really and it's just portraits that have been done millions of times already by other tattoo "artists"... just saying. Your art should be a lot cheaper.
Anonymous1. Tell me where youre gonna find art like that from someone who puts their ALL, their life, their energy and time into a drawing.
2, you’ll pay a grip of money for a mechanic, a doctor, someone who specializes in what they do. if you dont need a mechanic, a dr, or anything else that takes skill, then dont bother with it.
If my art isnt up to your standards, fine by me, your opinion wont make or break me, I dont need a reputation to get my work out there. And how would someone from tumblr, OF ALL PLACES know if my art is reputable?
to do “shitty portraits that have been done a million times” isnt as easy as you think, YOU try it then go ahead and say my work is shitty.
if you felt strongly enough to voice your opinion, at least respect yourself enough to say it without being anon.
Id rather put MY name on shitty art that I put my soul into, sell my shitty art to people who think my shitty art is good, than EVER hide behind anon.

Art is never GOOD OR BAD, its whatever you want it to be. I dont make my art to please everyone.
If you dont feel its “up to your standards” then simply dont look at it.
You feel its not good enough for money? Then dont buy it.
if its something other “tattoo artist” do as well, then please explain to me why people are buying my art and why its what im recognized for?
I sure you have a talent that you spent your whole life learning, you havent perfected it, but youre working with what you have right? Telling someone their work isnt good enough or the same as everyone elses is a low blow, am I wrong?
